Fager Mary Titanium Double Jointed Bradoon

This Bradoon can also be used as a regular snaffle.

Fager Mary is the ideal choice if you would describe your horse as follows:

• Can overreact when you take up the reins.
• Feels stiff in the contact on one or both sides.
• Pulls the reins down or forward and/or plays with the tongue.
• Struggles to maintain a consistent contact.

Fager Mary is an incredibly comfortable bit featuring completely smooth surfaces, including the joints. Combined with the lightweight titanium material, it provides a consistent feeling in the hand without the horse overreacting when you take up the reins, while still maintaining a light and responsive feel.

Fager's smooth joints are designed to never press against the sides of the palate or create uneven pressure on the bars. The small tongue relief, combined with the smooth joints, distributes pressure more gently over the tongue, making this bit an excellent choice for horses with a sensitive tongue that tend to open their mouth, pull on the reins, or play with their tongue. Mary features a 12 mm mouthpiece and 55 mm rings.

Material

Titanium is a tasteless metal that naturally adapts to the temperature of the horse's mouth, encouraging acceptance of the bit and providing greater comfort. We recommend titanium bits for horses with sensitive mouths that may react to other metals, for example by developing red marks or sores despite soft hands. Titanium provides a very light feeling in the hand and a quicker response compared to heavier bits. It is also an excellent choice for horses with a stainless steel allergy.

Bradoon

The Bradoon features smaller rings than our traditional snaffles, allowing it to fit perfectly alongside a Weymouth in a double bridle. It can also be used as a regular snaffle.

Approved for use in competitions under KNHS and FEI regulations.
