Fager Vendela Titanium Double Jointed Bradoon

This Bradoon can also be used as a regular snaffle.

Fager Vendela is the ideal choice if you would describe your horse as follows:

• Can become unsettled in the mouth when ridden in a regular double-jointed bit.
• Needs a consistent yet light contact.
• Can overreact when you take up the reins.
• Struggles to maintain a consistent contact.
• Has sensitive bars, may chew on the bit, or throw its head up.

Vendela is a double-jointed titanium bit featuring horizontal joints and bar relief. Thanks to the horizontal joints and lightweight titanium material, this bit provides a consistent contact even when you take up the reins, while maintaining a light and responsive feel.

The horizontal joints lie flat against the tongue and palate, creating a gentler pressure on the tongue than traditional vertical joints. This makes Vendela an excellent choice for horses that tend to overreact when the reins are taken up and need a more consistent contact throughout every movement. It is also well suited to horses with a low palate. Vendela features a 12 mm mouthpiece and 55 mm rings.

Material

Titanium is a tasteless metal that naturally adapts to the temperature of the horse's mouth, encouraging acceptance of the bit and providing greater comfort. We recommend titanium bits for horses with sensitive mouths that may react to other metals, for example by developing red marks or sores despite soft hands. Titanium provides a very light feeling in the hand and a quicker response compared to heavier bits. It is also an excellent choice for horses with a stainless steel allergy.

Bradoon

The Bradoon features smaller rings than our traditional snaffles, allowing it to fit perfectly alongside a Weymouth in a double bridle. It can also be used as a regular snaffle.

Approved for use in competitions under KNHS and FEI regulations.
