Fager Stephanie Titanium Double Jointed Bradoon

This Bradoon can also be used as a regular snaffle.

Fager Stephanie is the ideal choice if you would describe your horse as follows:

• Is strong or tends to pull and lean on the bit.
• Has a sensitive tongue and may pull on the reins or play with the tongue.
• Is unresponsive when you take up the reins.
• Needs a lighter feeling in the hand with less contact.
• Needs to come up more in the front.

Stephanie features a double-jointed titanium mouthpiece with tongue relief, reducing constant pressure on the tongue. This bit is an excellent choice for horses that become strong in the contact, lean on the bit, or need a lighter, softer feeling in the hand with a quicker response when you take up the reins.

The roller is positioned lower than the joints to increase point pressure on the tongue only when the horse pulls or feels heavy in the hand, without creating constant pressure. The roller also gives the horse something to play with, making this bit an excellent choice for horses that can become numb to the contact. Stephanie features a 12 mm mouthpiece and 55 mm rings.

Material

Titanium is a tasteless metal that naturally adapts to the temperature of the horse's mouth, encouraging acceptance of the bit and providing greater comfort. We recommend titanium bits for horses with sensitive mouths that may react to other metals, for example by developing red marks or sores despite soft hands. Titanium provides a very light feeling in the hand and a quicker response compared to heavier bits. It is also an excellent choice for horses with a stainless steel allergy.

Bradoon

The Bradoon features smaller rings than our traditional snaffles, allowing it to fit perfectly alongside a Weymouth in a double bridle. It can also be used as a regular snaffle.

Approved for use in competitions under KNHS and FEI regulations.
