L'Anique Exclusive Atlas Headpiece
The L'Anique Exclusive Headpieces have been designed by a certified Bit and Bridle Fitter. Every horse has a unique anatomy, which is why the Exclusive Collection consists of five different models, each developed with its own purpose and design.
The Atlas headpiece is designed for horses with a more prominent external occipital protuberance that sits further towards the back of the skull. On these horses, a traditionally rounded headpiece can place unwanted pressure directly on this bony area.
The straighter shape across the top creates additional space around the prominent occipital bone, while the generous cut-out behind the ears allows for unrestricted ear movement. This makes the Atlas an excellent all-round choice for horses that benefit from a straighter headpiece without compromising on ear clearance.
